Back Squats and Perfect Weather

By: 0

After this week of Olympic lifting, Overhead and Squat work it would be nice to shake out the lactic acid and remain active this weekend.  And while the rest of the country is gutting it out and clearing the path to get to the car, we are headed for another unbelievably perfect weekend of weather.  I feel for the rest of the country–and I have a little drought guilt–but you really should take the opportunity to get out on the trails and take in all the amazing views and vistas we have.  It’ll be nourishing food for your state of mind and soul and here’s a great resource to pick the perfect outing: Trails, Parks and Biking in Napa Valley

Before all the relaxing, though, take a look at this cute little baby and take note of his squat form.  Translate all of it into your back squats this week and moving forward and you’ll be hitting consistent PR’s.  And it’s also so great that we worked on core activation this week ’cause you’re going to need it for those pullups and DU’s later on in the workout.
