<p>Lorraine has reminded me a few times over these past couple of weeks that there were some videos buried deep in the blog that were really helpful for her to understand the clean and the snatch.  These are from the guys over at 70sbig.com.  They are a few really well executed Olympic lifts shot in slow motion.  Notice the full extension that these guys make while still having straight arms.  Remember, as coach Burgener always says: &#8220;The power ends when the arms bend&#8221;.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>Before I get into the meat today, I have to make a correction.  I have been announcing in class that there is a &#8220;Community Workout&#8221; this weekend at 10am.  I was incorrect.  The next community workout will be on June 5th at 10am</p>
<p>I was browsing the blogs that I regularly visit on Sunday, and came across a few things so great that I have to pass them along to you guys.  The guys over at <a href="http://www.70sbig.com/">70&#8242;s Big</a> (a terrific semi-tongue-in-cheek powerlifting blog)have acquired a high speed camera and are using it to film Olympic weightlifting!  You could certainly do much worse than to emulate these beautiful lifts. Check them out and notice how their lifts look different than yours feel.  Let me know what you think.</p>
