We all get together on a consistent basis at Wine Country CrossFit. During those times there is a lot of talk about movement, health, nutrition, and our other habits that help or hinder our fitness. Thrown in the mix are grunts, inspirational comments, and even a bit of jockeying and joking around. But how well do you know your fellow Wine Country CrossFitters outside of the gym? I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t know what everyone does when they are not at the gym. Let’s all take a moment to reply to the comments with a little about what you do when you are not CrossFitting, heck, maybe we can even provide a little bit of business to each other.
A beautiful day at Ft. Cronkhite
I’ll get the ice broken here. I am a Graduate Gemologist as stated on our Coaches Bio page, I work for a small, high end jeweler in St. Helena called Palladium. I do appraisal work, buying, sales, and all of the little things that go along with working for a small business. Need something repaired? I can help you with that. Looking for an engagement ring? That is what I help people with every day. I have worked in the jewelry industry for just under seven years now, and have a wide network that I work with on a daily basis.
When I am not working or CrossFitting, I enjoy skiing, surfing, gardening, working on cars, BBQing, and of course since we live in Napa, wine.
Let’s learn a bit about each other! What do you do? What do you like to do?

A little about me… To pay the bills I divide my time working for two companies, a small publishing operation specializing in satellite communications, and a startup winery in Sonoma + Texas. My job is strange because I am both a web tech and a graphic designer. I spend some of the day writing code for custom content management systems & web sites. The rest of the time I design for print and the web. Occasionally, and far too often, I fix the company computers.
When I’m not hunched over a LCD screen tightening my hip flexors I like to run, bike, sail, cook or tinker on things in my garage.
See you all soon.
