Water, Water, Water!

Happy Friday Everyone!  A few announcements before I get into the meat today:

P.R. Thursday

Dang it, I missed it again.  Here’s your chance though.  Let me know about a P.R. you hit this week!  Please post your P.R. to the comments.  I’m getting lonely typing to myself!

Grand Opening:

Please don’t forget, along with our regular 9am class on Saturday, we will be having our grand opening party from 3-6pm.  Come on out for a workout, food, friends and fun.  I look forward to seeing all of you there.

Bay To Breakers:

Here is my current list of attendees for the Bay to Breakers Run.  If you don’t see your name on this list and want to come, please let me know by this weekend.  I need to submit everyone’s name in our group so that we can get a discounted registration code.

Water Talk

How much water should we be drinking in a day?  Do you think you get enough in?  Just guessing, but probably not.  We all get busy and forget to keep those hydration levels up.  But how much can it really hurt?  At a recent CrossFit Endurance certification, just that topic came up, and here is some very sage advice:

I was very excited about two P.R.’s for me this week. First I did three muscle-ups in a row without touching the ground in between. Second, I made it over the hundred pound barrier in the snatch with a 105 pound full squat snatch from the ground. I am way into the workouts right now and hate it when I have to take a rest day.
